If, like me, you’re an iPhone power user then you’ll know that the iPhone battery isn’t the best, I charge my iPhone every night but after an early start which begins with me updating my feeds on my ‘newsstand’ app at about 7am and by about 3pm I find i’m down to about 20% battery level.
I’ve considered other battery solutions, but they’ve all seemed either too ugly, impractical or expensive, when I saw the MiLi Powerskin I realised that it would fit my needs better than anything else I’ve seen, my current favourite case is the switcheasy Vulcan so I undressed my iPhone and slipped it into it’s new outfit!
Will I actually be using it everyday? well at the moment that’s a maybe, you see although the PowerSkin is very well designed and really couldn’t be any slimmer, it still adds a considerable amount of bulk to the iPhone, it still fits in my pocket and also manages to feel good in the hand.
I’ll be trying it out for a few more days, I’ll then decide if the trade-off between bulk and midday top up charges makes it worthwhile, however for those days when I’m going to be out and about and still need to use my phone then I’ll be putting the PowerSkin on my iPhone before I leave the house!
